About the Festival
Celebrating its 31st Anniversary in 2022, the Kincardine Summer Music Festival is a world-class concert series featuring Jazz, Blues, Classical, World and Chamber Music performances combined with music education programs to produce a unique musical event on the shores of Lake Huron, Ontario.
We hope COVID protocols allow for the following:
Festival dates are August 1 – 12, 2022
The exceptional KSMF Evening Concerts will be a 5-concert series August 8 -12, starting at 7pm.
The FREE 4 O’Clock in the Park concert series in Victoria Park downtown will run August 7 – 12.
We hope to present a large choral work – Mendelssohn’s “Elijah” August 13, but this depends on COVID protocols and the possibility of rehearsals through the spring and summer.
NEW! KSMF DAY CAMP
The Festival has made a collaboration with the renowned Préville Fine Arts Centre
to offer in-person classes for children ages 4 – 9 from August 1 – 12.
Since 1992, KSMF has been leading the listening public and music students toward the personal experience of music as a vehicle for growth, expression and enjoyment. KSMF is a not-for-profit Registered Charitable Corporation.
Our students and audiences are people of all ages and a wide range of musical abilities and experience.
